  • To improve the product based on aggregated usage patterns

3. AI Processing

Your journal entries and related content may be processed by AI systems to generate responses and analyses. We do not use your private journal content to train models without explicit consent.

4. Data Storage

We take reasonable measures to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information, journal entries, profile data, and other content you store in Life Journal for as long as your account remains active so that we can provide the service.

If you request account deletion, we delete your account and associated personal data within 30 days after we verify your request. After account deletion:

  • Security and server logs, including IP addresses, timestamps, and technical logs, may be retained for up to 90 days.
  • Encrypted database backups may retain deleted data for up to 30 days before they expire and are overwritten.
  • Information required for legal or compliance purposes is retained only for as long as required by law.
  • Non-identifiable, aggregated analytics that can no longer be linked to you may be retained.

7. Third Parties
